Matthew has a passion for helping people mature in their faith and learn to use their spiritual gifts to glorify God and build up His church. Matthew loves to learn and teach people - especially when it comes to the things of God. If you have questions, need direction, or just want to talk about what God is doing in your life, reach out to Pastor Matthew and schedule a time to meet up for coffee or lunch - he loves to meet with new friends.

Tricia Menzor serves as the Ministry Coordinator at Calvary Green Valley Ranch, where she has been a dedicated part of the church family for 17 years. In her staff role, Tricia is deeply committed to supporting CGVR leaders, ministries, and families to help the community thrive. Alongside her husband, Johnny, she also helps lead the Christian Riders in Faith Motorcycle Ministry, sharing the love of Jesus Christ through active local outreach, prayer, and hands-on service. Tricia’s ultimate passion is meeting people exactly where they are and pointing them toward the life-changing grace of God.

Omar and Linda are passionate followers of Jesus who have the privilege of serving together as worship leaders. Married at 18 after serving together as youth leaders, they are now blessed with four children who all serve in ministry alongside them. Omar’s lifelong calling began in a ministry home—inspired by his father’s 20-year pastoral service—leading him to sing at age 8 and play instruments at 12. Together, Omar and Linda believe worship is more than music; it is a lifestyle of surrender, obedience, and devotion to God. Their heart is to strengthen families, build authentic relationships, and create an atmosphere where people can encounter God’s transforming love every Sunday. Whether leading locally or at special events, their prayer is that every moment points people to Jesus and brings glory to God.

Melissa Dionne has served as a Sunday school teacher for over 20 years across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Colorado. Her deepest passion is helping children discover God’s Word and grow in the love of Jesus. Alongside her ministry, Melissa brings extensive experience as a corporate leader. She is honored to use her leadership skills to strengthen the Children’s Ministry, equip volunteers, and partner with families to raise the next generation to know and follow Christ.

Sherry Chance is a Bible teacher, speaker, and published author who has walked with the Lord for over 50 years. At Calvary GVR, she coordinates the Women's Ministry alongside a gifted team of leaders. She also serves our broader community as an Area Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child. Sherry is dedicated to helping women discover their purpose, deepen their faith, and experience the abundant life Jesus promised.

Sound Ministry
Michael Pool serves as the Lead Sound Engineer, leading Calvary GVR's audio ministry to support worship services, special events, and ministry programs. He believes that excellent sound production helps remove distractions and creates an atmosphere where people can connect with God. Through both technical expertise and servant leadership, Michael is dedicated to helping Calvary GVR fulfill its mission and creating opportunities for others to serve alongside him.

New Visitor Welcome Ministry
Robert Summers has been an active part of the Calvary family since May 2015. With a deep passion for discipleship, he oversees the New Believers Ministry, helping new Christians establish a strong and lasting relationship with Jesus. In addition to this, he is actively involved in helping lead the Men’s Bible Study, creating a welcoming environment for men to grow, fellowship, and study the Word together. He is dedicated to helping others live out their faith in their homes, workplaces, and community."

Dan and his wife, Patricia, have called Calvary Green Valley Ranch home for 11 years. Alongside their three daughters, they love serving this community. Dan leads the church security team, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for worship. Passions include community outreach—founding a nonprofit for free tennis and pickleball—as well as chess and reading books on Christian apologetics.

Soul Care Biblical Counseling Ministry/Prayer Team Leader
Steve has been in Ministry and Church Leadership for many years first as a worship leader, Men’s Ministry Leader, and now as the Soul Care (Biblical Counseling) and Prayer Ministry leader. Steve’s passion is to see lives transformed through the application of, and obedience to God’s word in one’s life. Through mentorship and “targeted discipleship”, he leads people to finding purpose, identity and joy in Jesus. He walks with you through discovering why God created you, what is “walking toward sanctification” and how to overcome through Jesus, as He did.
God’s Holy Spirit is the giver of healing and life, because of Christ Jesus, if we will allow Him to work in us through prayer and study of God’s. Steve believes in the sufficiency of God’s word to address any and all of life’s struggles. He has a simplistic, no nonsense, non judgmental, nouthetic approach to delivering God’s word in a relevant, truth-based manner. Steve’s life verse is 2 Timothy 3:16,17.
He is a husband to Anne, a father of two great sons, and a grandfather of four, and an author. In his profession, he is a Project Manager. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his beautiful bride.

Adam Armendariz oversees the crucial mobile set-up and tear-down operations at Calvary Green Valley Ranch. He joined the team in 2015 and brings a vibrant, consistent energy to our mobile ministry every single week. Driven by a deep desire to see the church community grow closer to God, Adam works hard behind the scenes to ensure that church is a welcoming, seamless environment where everyone feels like they truly belong.
Outside of his ministry work, Adam has been a dedicated employee at Comcast for 25 years. When he is not working or serving at the church, you can usually find him relaxing and recharging at home.

Edna Vargas has been a dedicated member of the Calvary GVR church family for over a decade, serving faithfully alongside her husband and four children. Driven by a deep passion for helping others, she brings warmth and creativity to the community, actively serving in the Hospitality Ministry and sharing her love for decorating. Outside of church, Edna cherishes quality time with her family, finds joy in gardening, and loves connecting with family and friends over a warm cup of coffee. It is her heartfelt prayer that every person who walks through the doors of Calvary GVR feels deeply welcomed, loved, and encouraged by the grace of God.

Daniel and his wife, Edna, have been proud members of the church family for over 10 years, alongside their four children. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Daniel has a deep passion for serving and can be found every week setting up with the worship team to prepare the sanctuary for Sunday services.
Before transitioning into the trades, Daniel spent 15 years cooking professionally in the culinary world. Today, he channels that same discipline and drive into his business, All Electric, where he leads a team of electricians with a commitment to excellence and "doing it right the first time." For Daniel, leadership is a ministry; he loves helping people grow both professionally at work and spiritually at church. Above all, he strives to be a role model by showing others how to intentionally make time for Jesus in the middle of a busy life.

Serving as an Elder and Church Treasurer at Calvary GVR since November 2023, Steve Myers dedicates his heart to spiritual oversight and financial stewardship. His commitment to leadership extends to his role on the CRIF board. Professionally, he works with Kaiser Permanente Colorado, bringing dedication to healthcare. Beyond his ministry and career, family is his greatest blessing and joy. He has been happily married for 36 wonderful years, and they are blessed with two children and five beautiful grandchildren, who keep their lives filled with love, laughter, and purpose

Gregory Brown has attended Calvary GVR since 2015. He has served as an elder since 2020. He is currently serving as a church board member where he oversees A/V, Worship, and mobile church Ministries. He and his wife Lynda host a small group bible study. He enjoys Mtn biking and skiing. His life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 which emphasizes trusting in God's guidance over one's understanding.

He has been happily married to his wife, Janeth Cruz, for 20 years, and together they are the proud parents of four children.
