The responsibility of living a godly life can feel overwhelming. When we look at the heroes of the faith who came before us, we wonder how we could ever fill their shoes—or why God would entrust us with work that seems bigger than our strength. In Joshua 13:1–7, God calls Joshua to step down and pass unfinished responsibility to the next generation, reminding us that His mission never depends on one leader, but on His own faithfulness across generations.

In Christ - God has already conquered the enemies we cannot. So we don’t shrink back—we take up the unfinished work of our generation with His strength, not ours.
