God has given the instructions to the children of Israel - Devote the entire city of Jericho to destruction. And it brings us to one of the most difficult questions in Scripture: How can a loving God command destruction and judgment? As we learn about the the things that are set apart for destruction and consecrated to God, we will learn a little more about God's standards for love and holiness.

Ultimately, we are reminded that we were once under judgment, but through Jesus, we are made holy and sent into a broken world as vessels of glory and agents of redemption.
