It can seem so easy to drift back into religion, routine, and tradition. But without Christ, this will leave us feeling empty, guilty, and broken. The original readers of Hebrews struggled with the same temptation—drifting back toward Moses and the security of the old system. But this passage calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus—the One who defeated death, became our High Priest, and now stands over the house as its Builder.
