Young Adults

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

Leaving home, going to college, starting a career, dating, getting married, starting a family. So many life changes happen in our late teens and twenties. We don't have to do it alone. Our Young Adults group is aimed at providing a place for fellowship - to pray and discuss our lives together and to ask and answer important questions about life and faith. We support one another, have great fellowship and lively conversation.  We encourage one another to grow in faith, plug in and serve and to live out our faith together.  We also plan occasional outings, retreats and service projects.  So keep on the lookout for that as well.

There is not a hard and fast rule for the age on this group - it is more about stage of life and shared interests - we have generally found that people over the age of 18 into their late twenties get the most out of the group and feel the most comfortable here - if you aren't sure, we welcome you to come check it out and see if its a fit.

Meetups

1st and 3rd friday evening

We meet at a local home in Green Valley Ranch for dinner,  discussion, prayer and fellowship.
Some of our conversations will be sermon-based, some will be topical.  Sign up for times, dates and addresses.

Other ways to connect

go smaller - discipleship groups

small groups and studies

Believers are called to be constantly growing and maturing in our faith. However, there are some times where the Lord puts a special calling on us to really dig in for a time of intense growth. This is best done one -on- one or in very small groups - 3-4 max (not mixed gender).
We do these groups as the need arises. We commit to meet weekly over the course of 6-9months. We memorize Scripture together, read the Bible daily and study a book together.
Do you think you are ready to grow like that?
Calvary Green Valley Ranch has something going on pretty much every day of the week. If this group doesn't work, we highly encourage you to check out our other options. An important art of the Christian life is growing in the Lord and plugging in to the church.
