Friend of Caesar - John 19:1-16

In the moments before Jesus' crucifixion it was clear that Pilate had all of the power. He had the backing of Caesar and all of the authority - or so it seemed. The political and social systems of our world can loom large in our lives, but we can never lose sight of who is truly our King.

We can be steady and sure when the world seems uncertain because we know that the systems and powers of this world are in God’s hand.
