In Joshua 24, the people of Israel make a bold public declaration to serve the Lord—but Joshua refuses to let them treat faith casually. Why? Because serving a holy God requires more than a moment of sincerity; it requires a lifetime of dependent obedience.
We must choose Christ intentionally day by day, it is Christ who sustains our faith and makes us able to stand before a holy God.
